Book Summary


The Child of the Owl

The Child of the Owl is a story about Casey, a twelve year old, independent girl whose father has a gambling problem and her mother died. Because of her father’s gambling problem, Casey moves in with Paw-Paw, her grandmother, in Chinatown. Casey learns not only about her Chinese heritage from living with Paw-Paw, but a lot about herself and her family.
